How would you like to stay in a hotel that has a history? This would make for a good story to tell and I was actually told about the history of this hotel in Berkeley that I found through its website. It is called the Golden Bear Inn and it is such a beautiful 1946 structure with a Spanish architecture. If not for the site, I would have given up my search for something that I would find value staying in during my random trips. Something told me then that Berkeley would be a good place to be but I had yet to fulfill another sign which is to find a good accommodation within the day after the decision was made. But now, it is already a more than pleasant building to stay in for tourists and other people on various trips to Berkeley.
